Screening for Members of S&P Indexes
Here is how you can select various S&P Indexes:

a) Use Portfolio menu:
1. From the Research Wizard Portfolio menu, select Indices command.
2. Select from S&P 100, 400, 500, or 600.

b) To select S&P 1500, follow these steps:

1. From the Research Wizard Screen menu, select Open Screen Definition.
2. From the list of available screens, select "s&p supercomposite 1500.und".

c) To select membership by screening on the corresponding DBCM item:

Example: to screen for S&P 500 membership:

1. From the list of categories select Company-Descriptive. From the list of items, select S&P 500 Membership and Industry.
2. Double-click the item S&P 500 Membership and Industry to bring out the "Screen by" menu.
3. From the "Screen by" menu, select the not equal to "<>" operator, and from the membership list, select "0 NONMEMBER".
4. Click OK.

Example: To screen for S&P100 membership:

1. From the list of categories select Company-Descriptive. From the list of items, select S&P 100 Membership.
2. Double-click the item S&P 100 Membership to bring out the "Screen by" menu.
3. From the "Screen by" menu, select the not equal to "<>" operator, and from the membership list, select "0 = No"
4. Click OK .
